The following Principals of C are hereby appointed as Conveners to coordinate the admissions process with the District Selection Committee Headed by the District Collector for admission of students into Class V through Random Selection Method in AP Residential Schools(Centre of Excellances) for the year 2013-14

I.Sale of Applications:-
All A.P. Residential Schools are sale points in their region. The Centre of Excellances applications should be available from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm every day on payment of Rs.50/- in their region.

II.Receipt of Applications:
1. All the applications received should be Grouped Gender wise and Reservation Category wise (OC/BC-A/BC-B/BC-C/BC-D/BC-E/SC/ST). Applications received after the last date should be rejected summarily and should be intimated to the candidate about the rejection.
2. Reservation category wise Registers have to be maintained and each application should be registered in the concerned Register. Following is the format of the Register:

III.Scrutiny of Applications:-
1. Along with registration of the applications, scrutiny of the applications with reference to the eligibility conditions has to be done simultaneously. If candidate is found eligible it should be noted as “Admitted” in the Admitted/rejected column. If found ineligible, it should be noted as “Rejected” in the column. For the candidates rejected, reasons also should be noted in the reasons for rejection column.
2. If any candidate found to be rejected, the same may be intimated to the candidate along with the Xerox copy of application form within two days from receipt of such application.

Reasons for rejection: 1. Over age, 2. Under age 3. Not studying in the District 4. Unfilled applications 5.Applications Received after the last date. 6. Applications received in the Xeroxed (Not printed by convener) application forms.

IV. Computerization of Eligible Applications:-
All eligible applications should be computerized. The data from Sl No. 1 to Sl.No. 6 in the application may be entered in the Computer. Computerization of Data should be started on 10.07.2013 and should be completed by 20.07.2013. Reservation Category wise Gender wise Nominal Rolls are to be prepared in duplicate. Slips (Labels) for Lottery should be printed Reservation Category wise, Gender wise with the information E.g. Application
Number, Name, Reservation Category and Special Category for conduct of Random selection (Lottery).
V. Selection of students and Admissions:-Separate guidelines are issued on the process of admissions.
